Kash Kyla
Kash Talk - Album
"Kash Talk" is the debut album from Charlotte’s own Kash Kyla, and it’s a real statement of who she is as an artist. TK handled every bit of recording and mixing at Upstairs Basement, and you can just tell from listening to the tracks that she’s been in the room with him for years. The album is full of energy and each track carries that raw, confident vibe she’s known for. It’s the kind of project that makes you lean in and listen again. For a first album, it lays a serious foundation—Kyla’s talent is no joke, and TK knows exactly how to make it hit.

Jackson Myles
Myles From Home - Album
When Jackson first moved to Charlotte, he landed in the studio with us almost by chance — but what followed was a rollercoaster of creativity, setbacks, and real growth. From songs getting deleted to full re-records, we rebuilt this project from the ground up more than once. But through every challenge, something special kept coming through in the music. I had the honor of recording the entire album and mixing six of the tracks, and more importantly, building a genuine connection with Jackson in the process. This project wasn’t perfect — and that’s exactly what made it beautiful. It became a defining moment in his journey as an artist, and his decision to release it exclusively on Even Biz at first marked a bold step in building his career his own way.

Flag On The Play - Madden '21
Produced by our very own Jerm Juice, “Flag on the Play” made a lot of noise after landing a spot on the official Madden 21 soundtrack. This high-energy track brought national attention to the studio and marked a major milestone for our production team. Jerm’s hard-hitting, polished production set the tone for a record that still feels stadium-ready. It’s a proud moment that continues to inspire the level of quality we aim for on every session.

The Energy In The Room - Album
The Energy in the Room was more than just my first album — it was a moment in time that changed everything. After meeting producers Jordan Louis and Thurszday, something just clicked. The chemistry between us was undeniable, and we knew instantly that we had to create something real together. Eight of the twelve tracks were made in just one week, and that intense creative burst is what gives the album its seamless, honest flow. Nothing was forced. Everything was built on connection, trust, and the energy we shared in the room. This project taught us the power of creating with the right people — and how important it is to protect your space, your circle, and your creative spirit. This album will always hold a special place in our hearts because it reminded us why we do this in the first place.

Ryan James
Said & Done - Single
This heartfelt track was recorded and produced right here at Upstairs Basement by our youngest engineer, Brady Carpenter. At just 17 years old, Brady is a true all-rounder — from playing guitar to recording, mixing, and producing. He and Ryan James booked multiple sessions to bring this record to life, and you can feel the care, intention, and raw emotion in every detail. “Said & Done” is a standout example of what happens when young talent meets real dedication in the studio.
